Salon Nautique International de Paris | 6 to 14 Dec. 2014 | Paris - Porte de Versailles

This is the most spectacular hall, where masted sailboats can be exhibited in the central aisle. For the first time at the show, diagonal aisles have been set up so visitors can directly access outlying areas in this space - which remains huge despite the current construction work on the new tower between Halls 1 and 2.

The year's many new models will be on display including the latest Bénéteau Oceanis 38, with modular interiors, and the highly anticipated Dufour 310 GL (1), the first beachable modern Dufour. Also new, and voted sailboat of the year by Voile Magazine, the Dehler 38 will be on show alongside the new Hanse, Bavaria, Varianta 37 and Jeanneau Sun Fast 3600, which has been specially designed for racing. Further along, you can admire magnificent day boats like the Rosso 28, the brand new Optio from the Wauquiez shipyard and the Code 1(2) from Black Pepper: all of them jewels of design featuring elegant finishes. Another highly dynamic niche is that of small, transportable multi-hulls like the new Astus 24 and Tricat (which is developing an eco-designed version of its boats with Roland Jourdain), and yet another is that of new generation of small cruisers which are extra wide and high performance, like the Django (3) by Marée Haute and the Ikone 7.5 by Espace Vag. You can also dream of casting off with your family in a long-distance sailboat from Allures: maybe the new 39.9, or from Fora Marine the new RM 1360 and the small but highly anticipated RM 890.(4)

The Nautic Spot
In the Sailing Village at the Nautic Spot, visitors can try the latest Stand Up Paddleboards (Naish (5), Bic, Exocet, Hobie, etc.). The range of products available is growing in every way imaginable to suit its fans: inflatable boards that can be transported in a car boot or boat, special fitness models to sculpt your dream body, multifunctional boards with the option of adding a windsurfing rig, specific hulls for lake and river racing or even for surfing waves, and many more! The Nautic Spot also brings together new dinghies, kayaks and windsurfers as well as the biggest boardsport and surfing brands and sport catamarans (RS Cat 16, Hobie Cats, Dart, Nacra, etc.).

Loans & insurance

Turn your sailing dream into reality by finding the right financing and insurance partners. Today, most boats are sold under rent-to-own agreements, which offer financing at great rates. There is a vast range of equipment available, enabling everyone to make their sailing dream a reality. With insurance, each sport has its own requirements whether you are an ocean racer or amateur fisherman. At the Nautic Boat Show, it is easy to find a policy to suit you: every insurer on the market will be there!

Literature holds a special place in the heart of sailors. Book signings, interviews and TV shows will take place during the event along the busy aisles, where every day you can cross paths with journalists, writers, painters, skippers, photographers, adventure-seekers and even singers!

Every winter, the Nautic Boat Show welcomes races and plays host to their award ceremonies, press conferences and official cocktails. This year, we will again be talking about the Route des Princes, the Solitaire du Figaro, the Mini Transat and the Transat Jacques Vabre, which have just ended, and of the upcoming Route du Rhum planned for late 2014. The Barcelona World Race and the Americas Cup will also feature. All the top sportspeople will be there: Franck Cammas, Michel Desjoyeaux, Olivier de Kersauson, François Gabart, the Peyrons, Jourdain, Dick, Josse and Stamm, and of course Olympic medalists and boardsport stars. Whether around the world, transatlantic, large or small: all races lead to the Nautic Boat Show, the true hub of competitive boating.
