The leading shipyards are exhibiting in the nave, the highest and best-lit area in the Nautic Boat Show, where numerous yachts with masts can be displayed. Each year, the major well-known shipyards present their novelties as a world preview.
Bénéteau, Jeanneau, Dufour Yachts, Allures Yachting, Wauquiez, X Yachts, J Europe or Lagoon and Fountaine Pajot for the multihulls will be seen near the imposing CNB 66, 20,61 m long, the largest boat exhibited at the Show this year. You will also find a wide selection of cruisers, racers and dayboats produced by Black Pepper, Latitude 46, Rosewest or Franck Roy.
Races and watersports events
Major races and other top water sports events traditionally exhibit next to the yachts and the Scène Nautic, the nerve centre of the Show, where crew presentations or talks on nautical themes are held.
As you stroll through these aisles you might very well bump into some of the great awe-inspiring skippers and to participate in the radio vacations of these adventurers at sea, broadcasted live from the Scène Nautic!
Trendy sports, dinghies and paddling worlds
The Nautic Spot is the Show's central village, which spotlights fun sports like surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding, skiff sailing, canoeing-kayaking, wakeboarding, waterskiing…
Many animations spaces are waiting for the visitors: a large 700 sqm pool, a podium, a giant screen, an artificial wave, and even this year an indoor beach !
Anyone can take a short introductory course in the different watersports proposed on the pool: stand up paddle boarding, canoeing-kayaking, wakeboarding, or watch demonstrations by professionals. The second leg of the Nautic SUP Paris Crossing, the world's biggest Stand Up Paddle boarding race, takes place on the pool too. An occasion to see the top riders battling it out during the Show!
>> New this year: “The Nautic Beach” is waiting for you with a lot of surprises, of which new animations and initiations organised by the French Federations of Tennis and Handball.
Space of solar and electric boats
This year the Nautic in partnership with the French Association for the Electric Boat (AFBE) is creating a space grouping solar- and electric powered boats and products in order to show the latest innovations.
An Award of the electric propulsion boat of year 2017 will be discerned by the AFBE on Saturday, December 9th on the stage of the Scène Nautic. The winner will be elected on one hand by the visitors of the Show who will have been able to vote on the stand of the solar and electric boats, and on the other hand by the jury. The jury will be composed by a member of the French Nautical Industries Federation (FIN), the president of the AFBE and a specialised journalist.
The creation of a label for electric boats is also planned.
Publishing and Media
This sector brings together specialist publishers and the most emblematic maritime bookstores. You can find magnificent books, stories and photos based on the world of watersports.
Insurance and Credit
All sailors dream of owning their own boat. At the Nautic Show, you can find all possible means of becoming your own skipper on board at reasonable prices, including hire purchase, standard credit, leasing, management-rental, boat club...
Insurance also provides a wide and diversified offer, according to the use and value of a boat. Every year you can find all the financial services available in France: the occasion to gather information and make a new dream come true!
Ports are high parts of the economic and touristic activity of the coast. They ensure all the services as the maintenance, the guard service or the supply, which are essential to the sailors.
The harbour sector welcomes the equipment manufacturers as well as service providers who propose solutions both to the ports and to the sailors.
The direct closeness of ports and of marina in the Hall 1 facilitates the exchanges and allows to realise orders.
The river tourism has a growing success with the visitors of the Nautic! Travelling on canals, fjords and rivers is an accessible leisure and which is always very appreciated, on the Canal du Midi as in Northern Europe. The piloting of barges requires generally no specific licence, is easy and playful while boats have progress considerably regarding design, comfort and ecology. You will be able to appreciate that by visiting the last boat of the Canalous.
Families in the Nautic appreciate the possibility to discover a new region crusing along rivers, as well as in the sea.
Location & Tourism
A high number of agencies are present in the Nautic to promote their renting services. A huge offer is accessible in a unique place. Week-ends in Bretagne or in the Mediterranean Sea, on the Atlantic islands, in the Caribbean or even in Polynesia: all the professionals provide great offers to travel all over the world with absolute serenity.
This sector knows a boom of the participative economy too, and the offers of rent between private individuals or in co-navigation are developing … Departments, regions of the coast or iconic ports are also well represented and come to the Nautic with local partners to promote their territory, the entry of the nautical activities.
The digital at the Nautic
Like the whole economy, the emergence of participatory behaviours touches also the sailing sector.
To enhance this creativity and the new services proposed, the Nautic gathers around these services in one sector, in order to allow the young growths of the digital economy to meet decision-makers and funders of the sector.
From private individual renting with insurances to the management of his individual embarkations, including participative guides that mark every mooring or harbour, the applications are numerous and evolving. A new way to address the sea which has the major advantage of making it available to all ages and all wallets.
