Cycling on water has never been so easy!

What is the RIVIKE?

The RIVIKE is the first water bike with an inflatable board. It offers a new way to have fun, halfway between fitness and leisure. The RIVIKE is a unique take on water sports, a perfect blend of physical exercise and relaxation.

It represents quite a revolution in paddleboarding!

How does it work?

The RIVIKE is a water bike made up of three components:

  • An inflatable stand-up-paddle board
  • A propulsion system
  • A steering system

Once disassembled, the water bike fits within a backpack!

How did it all begin?

The idea behind the RIVIKE goes back to 2014. On a beautiful summer afternoon, somewhere on the French Riviera (Côte d’Azur), Alex decided to take his water bicycle from the 90’s out for a spin.

As he pedaled around the turquoise waters, he found himself surrounded with stand-up paddlers asking where they could buy one for themselves.

Their enthusiasm prompted Alex to set himself a challenge : to design and bring to the market a modern water bicycle that is fast, light-weight, easy to use and to transport.

Who IS RIVIKE?

The RIVIKE is the brainchild of a group of friends who share a passion for nautical sports, adrenaline and nature. Their goals are to reinvent paddle boarding and to help generalize water biking. Their guiding philosophy : Using innovation to enhance leisure and water sports.

How far advanced is the RIVIKE?

Using his experience in engineering, as well as modeling software and a 3-D printer, Alex designed and developed a working prototype. This prototype enables you to cycle on water at a speed of up to 15 km/h (9.3 mph).

What can you do IF you want to help?

Today, the RIVIKE team needs your support to produce the RIVIKE, making it available to as many people as possible ! Become a patron in their crowdfunding campaign, and help them give life to the RIVIKE, the first inflatable water bike !
